Ditch the role of spectator, and become part of the show! Within minutes, our young audiences become a lively orchestra. Their beats fall in together to create a percussive locomotive filled with enthusiasm and joy! Through a series of dynamic non-verbal gestures and dramatic mime, Afrobeat introduce exciting musical games and movements that focus on maximum participation. During the session, Afrobeat introduce traditional African Drums, what they’re made out of, where they come from, how to create different sounds, African words, and the cultural significance or stories behind the rhythms and dances.
Benefits: Fun learning, develop social skills, musicality, coordination, build confidence and sense of identity, practice communication and listening skills, and promote creativity.
